It packs everything you need to know about the South African wine scene into an informative and entertaining pocket book. The guide's annual editions introduce hundreds of new wines, cellars and directions, as well as culinary, recreational and touristy hotspots throughout the Cape winelands.

Every wine tasted is given a brief tasting note and a star rating from 1 to 5. Each year sees the South African Wine industry sit back and wait for the announcement of the 5 star wines, an accolade which some see as the most important for the year. All the South African wines listed on this website have the John Platter ratings included in their description.

Orders will be delivered in 24 hours after receipt of payment anywhere in Portugal (Monday to Friday – orders placed by 12.00am) and those requiring deliveries outside Portugal should request delivery times and associated delivery costs.

Minimum orders (for 750ml bottles) are six – Magnums may be ordered individually - we look forward to being of service to you.
